Water Supply Update 3 (6.10am 22/1/13)

New machinery was installed at the Kalkie Treatment Plant by 12.30am this morning and as predicted, most residences will have a much improved supply this morning.

Further maintenance work is expected to be completed by 10.00am which should return supply pressure to normal but please exercise caution as water discolouration could continue throughout the day.

Special thanks to the Council staff who worked flat out through the night to restore services and maintain the partial supply during a peak demand period.

I won’t post any further updates unless something something major occurs but thanks also to everyone for their patience and understanding and apologies for any inconvenience during this totally unforseeable breakdown.
