Sometimes many of us don’t go looking for statistics which reflect our region’s progress from either a business or residential point of view so I thought that I’d throw a few links together which may be of interest to the wider community.
Most of these link through to Council’s ‘Business Bundaberg’ site which is a one-stop-shop for anything to do with the region’s economic performance, opportunities and aspirations. The crew at Council’s Economic Development Unit do a fantastic job of compiling and updating regional statistics which provides trends on how we’re travelling.
When making comparisons, please note the respective periods covered in each of the individual reports as (being from different sources) they are not all aligned.
I’ve also updated the comparison chart on my website which I compiled for all coastal townships with additional data included for the Fraser Coast Region and some of our hinterland townships including Childers, Gin Gin, Apple Tree Creek & Avondale. These are again benchmarked against the State & Nation.
