Council is reminding the Bundaberg community that the opportunity for residents to put forward their ideas for the proposed redevelopment of the former Bundaberg City Showgrounds is now open.
A draft Land Management Plan has been released to progress this redevelopment and residents are asked to review the document before providing comment.
The preliminary investigations include the potential creation of a multi-purpose community building for public hall, sport and recreational use. This could incorporate a PCYC use along with a rationalization of existing assets, such as Norville Hall and the Civic Centre, providing users of these facilities can be suitably accommodated in the proposed new multi-purpose facility.
Opportunities to review the draft plans and provide feedback are as follows:

- Static Displays:
- Bundaberg Library 11th – 22nd March
- Council’s Bundaberg Service Centre 11th – 17th March
