The much anticipate report card on the economic health of the Bundaberg Region will be revealed at the annual Bundy 4 Breakfast to be held on Tuesday December 2.
The breakfast is organised by Bundaberg Regional Council’s Economic Development unit and provides a range of guest speakers as well as business networking opportunities.
Council’s Economic Development portfolio spokesperson Cr Greg Barnes said the breakfast was an annual commitment by Council to provide the business sector with an overview of the region’s latest economic and business data.
“This is a great opportunity to showcase the many positive initiatives that are providing momentum and growth across the region.
“Initiatives like the announced construction of an $11 million gas pipeline to the Bundaberg Port, the China Ready program and the redevelopment of the old Bundaberg Showgrounds site are projects that have a capacity to deliver jobs and promote economic confidence across the region.
“Breakfast attendees will also gain an insight into the success of a long established local business with Steve Cooper from Home Hardware sharing highlights of his business journey.”
Cr Barnes said Bundy 4 Breakfast would be chaired by Neil McPhillips, Business Bundaberg consultant who would invite input from the audience during a Q&A session.
“If you are in business locally or considering establishing a business within the region then this is a function you should certainly attend.”
Bundy 4 Breakfast will be held at the Shamrock Room, Brothers Sports Club on Tuesday, December 2 from 6.45am until 8.45am. Cost is $25 per person and reservations can be made by Monday November 24 at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre (41304100) or online at businessbundaberg.com.au.
