RAIN INUNDATION – Division 5 Update #3 (7.30am 26/1/13)

Generally, most waters levels are dropping at this stage.

Hughes Road – Road Closure signs are up at the causeway however the water level across the road is minimal.

Watson’s Road – Open – No problems

Seaview Road – Open – A little bit of water of the side of the road

Back Windermere Road – Open – No problems – the new culvert near the quarry is obviously working.

Money’s Creek Causeway – Road closure signs are still up but the level in the upper lagoon is falling with only about 25mm across the road.

Beach Milieu – Atlantis Boulevard & Aquarious Drive are open and the level in the lagoon has fallen about 100mm overnight. The new culverts under Davidson Street are obviously doing their job.

The Disaster Management Group are continuing to issue radio advices.

There’s still a fair bit of water around so please drive carefully.
