P-51D MUSTANG CONFIRMED FOR ANZAC DAY + AIRCRAFT SPECIFICATIONS & FLY-PAST SCHEDULES

I’m pleased to advise that I have today confirmed the charter of the P-51D Mustang Fighter ‘Snifter’ for this year’s regional ANZAC Day Services thanks to the 100% sponsorship provided by the Bundaberg Regional Council.

Cathay Pacific pilots Mark Hall and Brian Stephens will once again fly into Brisbane specifically to take command of the aircraft as it graces our skies with the unmistakable roar of the V12 Packard Merlin engine.

Once again, ‘Snifter’ will conduct additional circuits of Coral Cove, Innes Park, Bargara & Burnett Heads as it travels between the services at Elliott Heads (11:25am) and Moore Park Beach (11:45am).

The aircraft will also be available for joy flights on Friday 24th April for anyone looking for that ‘once in a lifetime’ adventure experience. Please give me a call on 0488 539 123 for more information.

The flight schedule for this year’s regional ANZAC Day fly-pasts can be viewed here: Media Release – 2015 Flight Schedules for Regional Services or to find out more about the aircraft itself including its history and specifications please click here: Media Release – Details & Specifications of P-51D Mustang
