A couple of months ago I posted an article which outlined a request that I had made for a ‘bar-style’ table and benches to be installed in Bargara’s main shelter shed to replace the deteriorating and unsightly chess tables. The existing tables and stools were also impractical as the ocean vista was blocked by the upper timber railing.
One of the tables and a few low stools have now been removed and a modern and practical aluminium table and six two-seater benches have been installed. The remaining two chess tables will be replaced in the near future and I’ve requested that disabled access be included if possible.
- Now with an unrestricted view for up to twelve people
- The new table and two-seater bench seats
The new low maintenance setting will now enable up to twelve people to sit in comfort and enjoy an unrestricted view of the beach and ocean. The gaps between the short benches will also provide direct and easy access for anyone wanting to use them without disturbing anyone else.
