Media Release – PAVING OPERATIONS TO CAUSE TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES

Council is currently scheduling road paving operations at locations across Bundaberg and road closures will be in effect while the works are in progress.

Motorists are advised that works are planned next week at the following locations and times:

Intersection of George and Boundary Streets on Tuesday January 28 from 9.30am until 2.30pm and Saturday, February 1 from 10am until 4pm.

Hanbury Street, North Bundaberg on Wednesday January 29 and Thursday January 30 between the hours of 8am and 4pm.

Motorists should note that Hanbury Street will be open to local traffic only during the scheduled works time.

Traffic control measures will be in place and motorists are requested to exercise caution around the works areas and to comply with directional signage.

Council extends its apologies for any inconvenience caused to motorists while these essential upgrades are finalised. Further enquiries regarding the roadworks can be directed to Council’s District Engineer Coastal, Mr. Tim Hurn on 1300 883 699.
