PROMOTIONAL VIDEO MARKETS BUNDABERG REGION WORLD-WIDE
The Bundaberg Regional Council, in partnership with Bundaberg North Burnett Tourism (BNBT), has launched its first professionally-produced promotional video since amalgamation in 2008.
Upon launching the video, Acting Mayor David Batt said Live, Play, Work, Invest – Bundaberg Region would be used to market the region to families, travellers, professionals and investors across the globe.
“We want everyone to know what a wonderful place the Bundaberg region is in which to live, play, work and invest! And what better way to showcase our beautiful backyard than through stunning imagery from across the region,” Cr Batt said.
“It’s time to spread the word that our region is open for business and primed for substantial economic development. We have so much to offer potential investors and developers. The gas pipeline has the potential to create hundreds of jobs and provide the energy infrastructure that will see businesses flourish.”
Portfolio Spokesperson for Economic Development and Tourism, Cr Greg Barnes acknowledged the support of BNBT and Tourism Queensland, which contributed funding and imagery to the production of the video.
“The Bundaberg region promotional video is a shared initiative of the Council and BNBT and has cost approximately $15,000 to produce.”
“I would encourage locals to help us spread the word about the region by sharing our video through their own social media sites.”
BNBT General Manager, Katherine Mergard said: “BNBT is excited to support such a progressive initiative of the Bundaberg Regional Council. The video showcases all of the beautiful assets of our region and reinforces that this is a great place to live, play, work and invest.”
