Rate notices for the half year rating period ending December 31, 2014 will be arriving in letterboxes from Monday, August 4 and will be due for payment by Friday, September 5, 2014.
Notices paid in full by September 5 will attract a 10% discount on General Rates, less Council’s pension rebate.
Unpaid rates still outstanding after September 5 will be charged 11% interest until paid.
Anyone experiencing difficulty in paying their rates are encouraged to contact Council’s Revenue Department to discuss repayment options before the due date of September 5, but ratepayers are welcome to contact us at any time to discuss payment arrangements.
A number of payment options exist including direct debit, BPay, Internet Banking, payment at any Australia Post or BPoint outlet and by phone or mail.
Residents can also pay in person at their nearest Council Office being 190 Bourbong Street, Bundaberg, 169 Hughes Road, Bargara, 45 Churchill Street, Childers or 4 Dear Street, Gin Gin.
