Everything locally produced and grown in the Bundaberg Region will be showcased at Bundy Flavours Festival in Alexandra Park this Sunday.
Council’s Community Events portfolio spokesperson Cr Judy Peters said the festival was aimed at showcasing the fruits of our region.
“Our ‘food bowl’ reputation is spreading across the nation and this is our chance to sing it loud and proud on home soil,” Cr Peters said.
“The inaugural Bundy Flavours Festival was a hit so we’re hoping the region’s residents will come out in support of our local growers, creators and producers and help us to make this year’s festival a success.”
The day will entice foodies, green thumbs and families alike with local and celebrity presentations on cooking and gardening.
Cr Peters said the Bundy Flavours Festival would also include live entertainment, produce and cottage industry markets, a food court with specialty food vendors and free children’s activities in the Kid’s Corner.
