Media Release – DON’T DELAY, REGISTER FOR WELCOME BABY TODAY!

The region is preparing to deliver a warm welcome to its youngest residents so don’t delay, register now for the Welcome Baby Celebration!

A Bundaberg Regional Council spokesperson said registrations had been steadily coming in but participation was capped at 150 babies.

“I would encourage anyone interested in participating in Welcome Baby to register as soon as possible to avoid missing out,” the spokesperson said.

“Registration is open to any Bundaberg region child who will be 13 months or younger on the day of the celebrations on June 27.

“It is free to participate and each registered child will receive a ‘Baby Loves Bundaberg’ pack and an acknowledgement certificate signed and presented by the mayor.”

The Welcome Baby Celebration will be held in conjunction with the Flourish Family Fun Day at Boreham Park, Bundaberg.

“Following the ceremony families can choose to join us for the Flourish Family Fun Day and enjoy the many activities on offer and talk to a number of family-related product and service providers who will hold stalls on the day.”

Welcome Baby registrations close on Friday, May 27.
