Media Release – BIN COLLECTIONS EGGS-TRA EARLY OVER EASTER HOLIDAY PERIOD

Council’s waste and recycling staff will hop to their bin collection rounds bright and early over the Easter holiday period. Waste and Recycling portfolio spokesperson Cr Vince Habermann said dedicated staff would work through the public holidays to ensure there was minimal disruption to households. “To ensure our bin collection team can complete their work as early as possible on these special holidays, collections on April 3 and April 6 will take place earlier than usual,” Cr Habermann said.

“If you’re regular collection day falls on either of these days, we recommend residents place their bins on the kerbside the night prior to collection to ensure they are not missed.”

“There will be no changes to the operating hours of any Council waste management facility during this period.” For more information on Council’s waste and recycling services head to bundaberg.qld.gov.au or call 1300 883 699.
