Bargara’s McDonalds Application Progresses

The application by McDonalds Family Restaurants to establish an outlet on Bargara Road, Bargara has now progressed.

As part of the assessment process, Council had issued an ‘Information Request’ seeking further details from the applicant.

An ‘Information Response’ has now been received and the applicant is at liberty to enter the ‘Public Notification’ stage where those large white corflute signs are erected on the property’s boundary/ies inviting submissions to Council from anyone in favour of, or opposed to, the application. A notice will also be published in a local newspaper calling for submissions and neighbouring property owners will received written notification.

Anyone wishing to make a valid submission to Council must do so within 15 business days of the date that the notification period commences.

Anyone wishing to view the application file can do so at the Bargara Service Centre on Hughes Road or at Council’s Administrative Centre in Bourbong Street, Bundaberg. As the Planning Staff are located in the city, anyone with an inquiry regarding the application should attend the Bourbong Street offices.
