This Thursday Council will hold a Special Meeting of the Planning Committee to determine three development applications.
L1 – 128 FE Walker Street, Kepnock – Material Change of Use for Commercial Activity B & Commercial Activity C and Reconfiguring a Lot – One (1) lot into two (2) lots and access easements
L2 – Hills Street and Avenue Street, Bundaberg East – Development Application for Material Change of Use – Impact Assessment – for Commercial Activity “C” (Tourist Facility)
L3 Ferny Avenue, River Springs Drive and 237 Avoca Road, Avoca – Reconfiguring a Lot – Impact Assessment – for Subdivision (Stages 3 to 7 [90 Residential Lots, New Road and Buffer])
There has been particular interest in Item L1 which relates to the application to develop a Masters store on land abutting the intersection of FE Walker Street and the Ring Road access ramp (Item L1).
* The officer’s recommendation is to approve the application with conditions.
Additionally, Item L2 may be of particular interest to many within the community as it relates to a major upgrade to the Bundaberg Distilling Company’s Tourist Facility.
