The sealing of the southern car park in the Innes Park ReserveĀ is progressing well despite a couple of days of rain. All being well, Council will apply the first coat tomorrow (Wednesday 15th) followed by a final coat on Thursday. The crew hopes to have the whole job finalised and tidied up so they can leave on Friday.
Apart from the sealing of the surface, Council has also installed a concrete invert at the entrance to the car park which has traditionally washed out during heavy rainfall and also a concrete linkage path from the car park to the coastal pathway to provide better disabled access.
