GUY SEBASTIAN TO TOUR IN BUNDABERG

Widely regarded as Australia’s premier singing talent, Guy Sebastian is booked to appear at Bundaberg’s Moncrieff Entertainment Centre in June.

The visit to Bundaberg will be a part of the “Get Along” tour that will see Sebastian present 40 shows playing to fans in regional Australia over a three months period.

Bundaberg Regional Council’s Venues portfolio spokesperson, Cr. Lynne Forgan said the announcement that Bundaberg was included in the tour dates presented a wonderful opportunity for fans across the Bundaberg Region.

“Here we have a home-grown talent that is absolutely huge on the world entertainment scene and we will have the pleasure of seeing him live and local.”

Cr. Forgan said it was gratifying to see that entertainment of this caliber was now becoming a regular occurrence in Bundaberg. “I think the support from the community is there and Council also provides an excellent venue with the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre,” she said.

Guy Sebastian has been a regular chart topper since winning the inaugural series of Australian Idol in 2003. He has released six number one singles and is the only Australian male artist to achieve that status.

His “Get Along” tour rolls into Bundaberg on June 6 and bookings can be made by logging on to www.moncrieff-bundaberg.com.au or phoning 41304100. Cr. Forgan advised an early booking as ticket sales have been brisk since opening on Wednesday.
