Google Earth has now updated its imagery to include images taken on 29th January & 6th February 2013 and depicting the flood inundations. It makes it very interesting to flick between the ‘Before’ & ‘After’ images to gauge the extent of the floodwater .
If you’re not sure how to flick between images, go to the toolbar at the top of the Google Earth page and click on the ‘Time Slider’ icon (clock with an anti-clockwise arrow) and then use the slider to select the images taken on different dates.
