  • Most areas now clear of floodwaters

  • There are meetings at 10am at Moncrieff Theatre and 11am at North Bundy High Hall for ‘North Bundy Exclusion Zone Residents Only’ to explain the current situation in North Bundaberg.

  • There is presently no water, power or sewerage in the exclusion zone area.

  • Residents in other areas are asked to move water damaged goods onto the footpath for collection

  • Fuel and food supplies have returned to normal in most areas

  • Power is still off to approximately 8,600 properties and will be restored as soon as possible.

  • There are 2 Community Recovery Centres now operating at the TAFE College and PCYC which are open between 9am – 5pm daily for those persons who are eligible for financial assistance grants

  • We encourage all those who can return to their properties to do so and those from out of town are able to travel as the highway is open.

  • If you live locally and require assistance to return back to your residence please see Evacuation Centre staff who will record your details and assess your needs so that appropriate assistance can be determined.
