DAVIDSON STREET TO BE BLOCKED AS BEACH MILIEU CULVERTS INSTALLED

The installation of the large box culverts to assist with the stormwater drainage of Beach Milieu is scheduled to begin this week.

As a result of the works, Davidson Street will be blocked to vehicular traffic until early October with diversions put in place via Aquarius Drive, Masthead Drive & Atlantis Boulevard or alternatively, via Blain Street & Hughes Road. I’m writing to all residents of Beach Milieu advising them of the likely increase in traffic on these streets and asking them and especially their children to take extra care during this period.

I’ve also asked the works crew to try to maintain pedestrian access around the site to assist those who live in the area and who walk to Bargara Central and the Bargara Road bus route.
