BARGARA LAKES DRIVE WORK COMPLETED

The long-awaited re-surfacing of the entrance to Bargara Lakes Drive has now been completed by a private contractor following an agreement earlier this year between Council and the developer.

The agreement resulted in Council purchasing the land on the southern alignment to the entrance which in turn enabled it to undertake vital drainage works to assist flooding issues for neighbouring property owners.

In return, the failed paved surface of the entranceway was replaced with a smooth asphalt surface to rectify a long-standing issue for all resident of Bargara Lakes.

The agreement also saw the asphalt re-surfacing of the entrance intersection with Woongarra Scenic Drive.

It took a while to acheive but congratulations and thanks to everyone involved in the process!
