Bargara Cultural Centre Storage Sheds Now Available

Eight colorbond storage sheds have now been constructed behind the Bargara Cultural Centre on Hughes Road and are available for hire by regular users of the Centre at a discounted fee of only $11.00/month until the end of the financial year after which it is likely to return to the scheduled $22.00/month.

Please note that these are not for general hire by organisations or individuals who do not have regular and scheduled bookings of the Centre.

Located in two separate rows, the sheds come in two different layouts but with the same floor area of 30.15 sq m:

Sheds 1-4  3.26m (w) x 2.11m (d) x 2.6m (h) – Roller Door  2.1m (w) x 1.8m (h)
Sheds 5-8  2.16m (w) x 3.210m (d) x 2.5m (h)-Roller Door 2.1m (w) x 1.8m (h)

All sheds are fitted with solar-powered flouro lighting and are vermin-proof.

The sheds were constructed after Council successfully applied for a $43,000 grant through Round 3 of the Regional and Local Community Infrastructure Program (RCLIP).

Anyone interested in hiring the Centre or the Sheds should contact Council’s Venue & Facilities staff through 1300 883 699

FOOTNOTE: Not-for-profit community groups can hire the Centre’s main hall on a regular basis for only $27.50 for up to 4 hours instead of the normal rate of $27.50/hr!
