The Department of Transport & Main Roads has released another courtesy advice regarding proposed roadworks and this time it’s for the Bundaberg Ring Road between FE Walker Street & Telegraph Road…….
The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) will soon commence rehabilitation works on a section of Bundaberg Ring Road between FE Walker Street and Telegraph Road.
These works will strengthen the existing surface to minimise pavement failures and reduce the future cost and interruption associated with regular maintenance. The result will be a safer, smoother driving surface for motorists.
Works will be carried out between 6am and 6pm on Monday 28 November and Tuesday 29 November 2016. To undertake the works safely and efficiently, traffic controllers, single-lane closures and speed restrictions will be in place as required. While every effort will be made to minimise traffic disruptions, motorists should factor in additional travel time for their journey.
A second coat seal will need to be applied early in the new year, and will be conducted at the same time as the second coat seal on Bundaberg-Port Road.
This work will be completed with minimal interruption to traffic.
