2015 BARGARA ANZAC DAY VIDEO AVAILABLE ONLINE

I’m pleased to advise that a video of the 2015 Bargara ANZAC Day Dawn Service is now available online for anyone wishing to take a look.

Commissioned by the Bargara Commemorations Committee and produced by WIN TV’s cameraman Murray Page as a donation to the event, the video provides a brief description of how the new memorial came about and the thoughts of those who addressed the crowd. It also features images of many local residents who attended the Service and I’m particularly pleased with the focus on the children who continue to play such an important role in this annual event.

More images of the sunrise, the crowd, the Mustang fly-pass together with the words of the speakers are bound to evoke some emotional memories of that idyllic morning.

The video also gives us the opportunity to recognise many of our incredible sponsors and volunteers, who literally ensure that this event continues to grow each year. I very much hope that the community takes note of their contribution and returns the support.

Here’s the link & I hope that we as a committee, and the community in general,
have done our Diggers proud….
